How do I volunteer?

Here at the Ann Arbor CRU we invite healthy volunteers between the ages of 18 to 55 to participate in our program. Occasionally, we conduct studies with volunteers 56 years or older. For the majority of our studies, our participants cannot be taking daily prescription medications or have a chronic illness.

You could qualify for our program if you have a body mass index (BMI) of 35 or less. Your BMI is a measure of body fat based on height and weight. You may not be eligible to participate in some studies if you have a BMI greater than 30. Please click on the link to calcuatel your BMI.

You must also be a non-smoker or smoke no more than 5 cigarettes per day, and not have a history of a severe allergic reaction (such as breathing problems or swelling of the face) to foods, medications, or bee stings. You cannot have had active asthma (needing to use an inhaler or take asthma medication) within the past 2 years.

Please call the recruiters at 1-800-567-8804 if you want to hear more about the research program.
